Wintergirls

I forgot to mention in my last post that I'm reading Laurie Halse Anderson's latest book, Wintergirls. It's spooking me out but I'm pressing on. Lia is a senior in high school, her best friend just died, she suffers from anorexia and also cuts. This is a tough one for me--like forcing myself to watch the movie, 13 when it came out shortly after Tari was born...Sometimes I happier sticking to trying to figure out whether it's a duck or a rabbit.
